Heat up the dance floor--virtually

Apr 12, 2009 by FN's Shar Bareng

Not all of us are blessed with dancing skills. While some of us have fantasies of busting cool moves on the dance floor, we keep to dancing (modestly) in groups for fear of embarrassing ourselves in front of friends or men.

If you would really love to give dancing all you've got in the privacy of your home, why not try grooving virtually through Audition Dance Battle? Now on its second season, this popular X-Play online game just got better as it now offers more songs to bop to and character accessories to choose from. If you're looking for another way to bond with friends, your barkada should try this, especially if you all love to shop and dress up.

"Fashionistas will really enjoy Audition 2," says X-Play Vice President George Royeca. "Players usually buy shoes first, and this time around, there are lots to choose from. Audition 2 even offers localized and customized fashion items so players will enjoy expressing themselves more."

Aside from a whole new wardrobe, Audition 2 also offers pets for characters and new game modes such as Couple Dance, Crazy Freestyle, and Club Dance.

To make Filipino Audition players feel truly at home, Audition 2 features songs by local artists such as Nancy Jane and Dice and K9. X-Play even forged a tie-up with GMA-7, which involves Kapuso stars playing the game live on SOP at the Audition Celebrity Dance Battle in May.

To play Audition, download the game from http://www.clubaudition.com.ph and install. Audition requires at least Windows 9X, ME, or XP running on Pentium 4, 512MB RAM, Direct X 9.0c, and NVIDIA Geforce4 graphics card for a good virtual dancing experience.
