Google goes green as it funds electric-vehicle maker Aptera and battery start-up ActaCell. The California-based web corporation has donated US$2.75 million to the said automobile company, following its appeal for propositions from companies developing electric cars.

The car looks very much sci-fi, isn't it? Here are some of its specs.

This three-wheeler is worth US$30,000—that's around 1.2 million pesos—and runs on either pure electricity or consumes only one liter for approximately 80 kilometers. Imagine the savings on gas! According to the company, the vehicle is touted to accelerate to 95kph within 10 seconds, can drive around 190 kilometers on full charge, and recharges from a 110-volt outlet.
