Star fashion and beauty profile: Rhian Ramos

Oct 20, 2008 by FN's Trixie Reyna

La_Lola_Rhian_Ramos_001.jpgDebutante Rhian Ramos is celebrating this new chapter in her life with a new GMA-7 primetime TV starrer Lalola, and a fearless first Cosmo cover to boot.

Born Rhian Denise Ramos Howell, the senior high school student makes bold revelations about herself in what Cosmopolitan Philippines calls her most candid interview ever, which you will find in this month’s issue.

“If you really want to feel good and look good, the first thing to do is accept the truth [about yourself]. When you’ve done this, that’s when you’ll start to improve,” says Rhian in her Cosmo interview.

Cosmo declares that this head-turning mestiza oozes with charm and sex appeal, and FemaleNetwork couldn’t agree more. Now wouldn’t it be great to know her beauty secrets and personal style from which we could take a cue? That’s why we went ahead and asked Rhian herself.

What are your beauty secrets?
If you have flaws na ayaw mong makita ng iba, smile: it’s a beautiful gesture that distracts people from your pimple or puffy eyes. At kung hindi ko kailangan mag-makeup, ‘wag! It blocks your pores.

What’s your personal style?
I like mixing very manly or tailored [pieces] with some feminine [pieces. That’s my way] of dressing.

Where do you usually shop?
Hangten for jeans and tops, Sabella for dresses, BClub for shoes.

What’s your favorite piece of clothing?
I like comfy shirt dresses. And I wear a scarf everyday! I have like 20 scarves!
