Don’t you sometimes wish you can change your hairstyle and eye color—heck, even the shape of your nose and lips—as often as you change clothes or moods?

Well, if you can’t change your facial features for real, you can at least do it through your online persona in FemaleNetwork.com’s newly launched MyFN Avatars. This feature allows you to create (and reinvent) your virtual self

Choose from a wide range of options for facial features, skin color, hairstyle, and more! You can save your avatar and use it as your MyFN profile pic, GIRLTalk icon, and even download it on your mobile phone. You have to be a registered in MyFN to create an avatar.

To use, simply click on a facial feature you would like to add (face, ears, eyes, eyebrows, lips, nose, hair, and even bangs) and take your pick from among the many choices we’ve created for you. Use the arrows to browse through all the options for each feature. You can also change the color of each feature you selected from the palette at the bottom. Feel like having grey eyes, hot pink lips, and curly auburn hair this moment—and blue eyes, pale lips, and straight black hair the next? Keep changing your virtual look as often as you please!

You can remove the facial feature you’ve recently added by clicking on “Remove Feature” or simply clicking on a new choice from the same category. Want a clean slate? Remove the avatar you’ve created by clicking on “Clear All” and start over.

To save the avatar you’ve created, simply click on “Save to MyFN profile.” Doing this will save your MyFN Avatar in the rightmost box in your MyFN Home and ensure that the next time you open the MyFN Avatar page, you will still see your most recently saved avatar. You must do this step before clicking on the “Use as MyFN primary photo” button to use the avatar as your MyFN profile pic and GT icon.

You also have the option to print the avatar or even download it on your mobile phone! To download any MyFN Avatar, text MYFN AVATAR and send to 2948 for Globe, Smart, and Sun subscribers (Example: MYFN AVATAR 147 and text to 2948). P15/MMS download for Smart and Sun subscribers and P20/MMS for Globe subscribers.
