Lucky number seven

Jun 28, 2008 by FN Blogger Kissa CastaƱeda

Beauty editors say that at the very least we should adopt a 3-step skincare plan--cleanse, tone and then moisturize.

When I visited beauty boutique Tashiro in Shinjuku, I was surprised to find that I had to add another seven steps to the usual three step plan. Gladly those steps don't involve products but rather the process in which products are applied. The idea is to give yourself a daily facial by transforming your skincare plan to something a bit more tedious, but a bit more rewarding.

According to the Shiseido specialist, these seven steps (pictured here) are to be repeated 3-4 times to achieve that spa-like feeling.
