Working with prints that have similar color is an easy way to start and then go from there. Hint: The ground colors need to complement each other. When a print is bright and bold, balance it out with solids. Be careful not to overload on color, four different colors with different hues in one outfit is acceptable.

If you're still unsure, you can't go wrong by matching black and white prints. For example, wear a black and white striped cardigan over a floral print dress. In this picture, a black and white hooded top was mixed with a striped pink top and a black long sleeves top. Black and white should neutralize the other colors on the other pieces of clothing you wear.
