Have you ever had the experience of seeing so many good clothes on the rack, then waste so much time trying on all of them only to find out they don’t look flattering on you at all? Or, have you ever purchased a top, skirt, or accessory on a whim, only to find out it doesn’t go with anything you have in your closet?
FemaleNetwork came up with the perfect shopping help for you! Virtually try on outfits even before you shop with the newly launched FN Dressing Room. This new feature found under FN’s Style section allows you to check out how outfits will fit you and even how much each piece and the total outfit would cost before you go out shopping—simply try them on the virtual mannequin.
Mix and match outfits according to your taste and budget from among a collection of tops, dresses, bottoms, outerwear, and accessories we’ve lined up for you. To do this, simply click on your choice of clothing and use the buttons to browse the Dressing Room contents. Each image displays the brand, type/description of the outfit, and the price, which automatically adds up in the “Total Price” field every time you click on a piece of clothing.
You can remove the selection by clicking on “Remove Top/Dress/Bottom/Outerwear/Accessory” or simply clicking on a new item from the same category. You can remove all the outfits you’ve selected (as well as the Total Price) by simply clicking on “Clear All.”
To view your outfit from different angles, you can rotate the mannequin by clicking on the either of the two arrows at the bottom of the mannequin to view your outfit from the right, left, behind, or front.
You have the option to save each combination of outfits on MyFN Faves or even print the outfit and details, which you can now use as guide when you go on your next shopping trip!
