A fragrance with aphrodisiac-like effects?

Jul 26, 2008 by FN's Trixie Reyna

881_menage_pack.jpgDid you know that there’s a fragrance out in the market now that supposedly has aphrodisiac-like effects? I have tried it myself. Read on to find out if it worked.

An aphrodisiac is an agent believed to increase one’s sexual desire. They supposedly include food, drinks, and other concoctions that are believed to make sex more attainable or desirable for someone. While science has not confirmed that these aphrodisiacs really do produce their desired effects, individuals throughout history continue to use them in different forms.

In this age, they even come in perfumes. A famous lingerie brand steps up with its own fragrance that claims to increase your desirability in bed. Agent Provocateur, London’s infamous lingerie company, has over the last ten years become a name synonymous with seduction, pleasure, and the provocation of the senses. It was only a matter of time before they came up with the ultimate scent for seduction.

Their first signature fragrance, Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum, is the perfect marriage between scent and seduction. It is guaranteed to bewitch the senses, re-claiming the original and authentic raison d’être of fragrance as a sexual attractant. One whiff is enough to convince you this scent is really meant for romance. I won’t claim to have bewitched someone by this scent when I first tried it, but I can certainly attest that a lot of men found the scent attractive; they can’t help but get another, deeper whiff of the perfume, and are certainly intrigued by it.

Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum belongs to the Exotic Floral Chypre fragrance family, with ingredients gathered from all exotic corners of the world. For its top notes, it contains the exotic notes of pure saffron oil from India and coriander from Russia. The heart of this scent is encoded with the passionate heart of Moroccan rose oil, Egyptian Jasmine, French Magnolia Oil, ylang-ylang, and white gardenia flowers from the Comores, all known to enhance sexual desire, as mentioned in another article published here. The base of this scent is finely tuned and balanced with the perfect seduction of amber, Virginian Cedarwood, vetivert from Haiti, and animalistic musk.

Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml glass bottles, or in 50ml or 100ml (SRP 6350) porcelain bottles.
