If there's one month I love (aside from my birth month and December, that is), it has to be September. September, for me, signals the start of a different way of dressing and heralds an onslaught of fresh trends. For the fashion-obsessed, September is the month to welcome the new season and to say goodbye to the past. You only need to pick up a fashion magazine to understand this point.
Our Western counterparts, of course, approach the changing seasons differently. You can say they do so out of necessity since autumn and winter mean colder temperatures and various forms of precipitation, as well as the resultant need for thicker fabrics and additional layers. But we tropical country-dwellers still have the balmy weather to contest with. Still, why should that prevent us from diving headfirst into the wonderful world of new season dressing?
As we enter the -ber months, it's time to forget about Spring/Summer 2012's pastel hues and ladylike approach. Fall 2012 is darker, moodier, and more intense—and, frankly, I'm more than ready to embrace all these characteristics when it comes to getting dressed. So, in honor of the new season, I'd like to share my 10 favorite looks from Philippine Fashion Week Holiday (see what they did there?) 2012. Browse through the gallery to check them out.
Stuck at home with nothing much to do? On the prowl for a cool idea for your next barkada's gimik? Then you might want to schedule a visit to the Trick Art Museum.
This musem is located inside the Manila Ocean Park, and it takes after the trick art museum in Korea. Inside, you are shown photos that you can pose with. The best way to enjoy this kind of museum is to have a wild imagination and good camera angles. Deviate from your usual poses, and you can create countless crazy photos.
This kind of museum is for the young ones and the young once! Take a look at the gallery below to see how much fun my family and I had!
What's the first thing that you do whenever you get sick? Do you immediately schedule an appointment with your doctor or do you simply wait it out? Personally, I am guilty of the latter. I rarely get sick, but when I do, it’s usually just an ordinary fever. Instead of seeing a doctor, I simply stay home for a few days, wrap myself up with a blanket, and drink lots of water. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to get additional help from unconventional sources.
Have you ever heard of crystal healing or color therapy? At home, these seemingly odd healing techniques are about as normal as it gets. As a child, I sometimes envied my other classmates whose parents had normal approaches to healthy living, but now I have learned to appreciate these unconventional healing methods. If you’re curious to find out what kinds of healing strategies I’ve been exposed to over the years, check out the gallery below.

Weddings are nothing short of magical. You have the venue prepped up according to the theme, a program that involves dancing, glass-clinking, and merry-making, and most importantly, you have two people explicitly professing their love to one another.
What are the first things that come to mind when you think of Camarines Sur?
For my aunt’s birthday, our family went to Bicol last weekend and stayed in the famous Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC). Its my second time to visit Bicol, and I love it! There are lots of sights to see, lots of things to do, and most especially for me, lots of food to eat. Bicol is best known for Bicol Express, a spicy pork dish. Bicolano dishes are known to be spicy, and even the region's chili seems to have a different hotness to it.
Here are the things you shouldn’t miss in Camsur.
