I'm a self-confessed pack rat. I like keeping things for either sentimental reasons or for emergencies. Let's just say that I like being prepared for anything that may come my way. I wasn't a girl scout when I was a kid, but I'd like to think that I am one in everyday life!
However, being a pack rat makes it difficult for me to choose what exactly I should stash in my bag. In fact, the process of packing for any kind of trip used to be extremely stressful for me. I’ve learned, though, that it really helps to make a checklist of the things you plan to bring, so I try to make my lists as detailed as possible. Believe me, it really makes packing easier!
Now, I'd like to share with you a few things that I'm certain to have when I'm staying in another place for more than the requisite 24 hours. Aside from the usual clothes and toiletries, I would always make sure to pack these must-haves. It doesn’t matter if it’s a trip abroad or a sleepover at a friend’s house; these things will always make it on my list, even if I probably won’t use them. After all, it’s always good to be prepared!
