All I Want For Christmas: 8 Things on my 2012 Wishlist

Mars, FN's editorial assistant, shares the things she'd like to see under her tree this yuletide season. By Marianne Salazar

The holidays may be all about family, friends, and love, but come on, guys, let’s be honest here--one of the best things about the season is the prospect of having new things. When I was a kid, I would write down the things I want to get for Christmas and put it somewhere Santa (AKA my parents) might see. It proved to be successful for a few years: “Santa” had apparently decided that I was nice enough for a doll house, a cooking set, and a Sky Dancer doll. But Santa put his imaginary foot down when I asked for a GameBoy in fourth grade and that effectively made me stop writing to him.

Now, we may have all outgrown Santa Claus’s magic, but there’s still something to be said about writing down the things you want and making them known to people. We at FN know this, so we’re launching a wishlist feature here on the site. A wishlist button will be added to selected galleries soon, so if you spy something you like, just click on it and you’ll see it on your MyFN profile. And since I like prefer doing all my Christmas-related things as early as possible, I’m starting my own wishlist now. Scroll through the gallery below to see the top eight things I want to get this year!
