Hollywood is in a fairy tale mood recently, with big budget movies featuring revamped—or, in some cases, fixed to be more closely attuned to the original—versions of the classics making it big with audiences all over the world. Snow White and the Hunstman, for example, which stars A-listers Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart, and Chris Hemsworth, just opened on June 4, and it’s already topping the box office.
Charlize was easily the star with her effective portrayal of the evil queen, and by the end of the movie, I already felt inspired to go and rewatch some of the fairy tale movie adaptations I’ve seen over the years.
