4 Couples Who Really Inspire Me

Liana talks about the couples in her family who have shown her what love and relationships are all about. By Liana Smith-Bautista

Real relationships don't exist in a vacuum; a lot of the time, couples rely on their interactions with other couples to help them determine how they will move forward. The importance of couple friends and mentors has never been lost on me, and going on four years into my marriage, I find that I am increasingly reliant on and inspired by the couples who have contributed to the strength and commitment of my marriage.

Today, I’ve decided to write about four of my biggest influences. And while I may not be aware of all the nuances that characterize their relationships, I can share what I’ve seen as an observer and how they have inspired me to push for a more committed and accepting yet challenging and spontaneous relationship with my own hubby.

Click through the gallery below for a glimpse into the relationships of four inspiring couples I’ve had the honor to know and love.
