After talking about sexual fantasies in general, let’s shift our focus on women’s fantasies in particular.

It’s true that every woman has fantasized implicitly, a lot of which she is probably embarrassed to share with anyone. Looking at a long list of usual sexual fantasies women have, you will be surprised to learn that a lot of them involve being raped or coerced into having sex.

But let’s clarify something: this rape or coercion scenario is, of course, only in their fantasy; no one would wish for this to happen in real life.

By definition, a coercion fantasy involves a woman playing victim: an innocent and naïve young lady whose clothes are forcibly ripped, is taken advantage of, and has no power against the scheming, cunning, devious (and probably gorgeous) “rapist,” even if she fights him off with all her might.

Why do a lot of women have this sort of fantasy? Women are used to being in control of everything these days, to the point that their life lacks spontaneity and excitement. Having rough, wild sex—in abandon—is the opposite of this reality.

Women want variety; it’s not really about the rape scenario itself but the struggle for power. They like being dominated in their fantasy.

Another reason for having this fantasy is supposedly to alleviate guilt. If she is forced into lovemaking, she can enjoy sex without really showing that she’s giving in. She is not really required to show interest, yet still enjoys the act.

A warning to “respectable men” out there: Please don’t confuse things! Don’t think that just because women fantasize about being raped, they want to get laid without their consent. Remember, it’s the idea that “IT IS NOT POSSIBLE” that makes it sexy and appealing; it’s a different story when it becomes reality.

Coercion is just one of the sexual fantasies women have. Women, just like men, get turned on by sexual thoughts or daydreams. Having a sexual fantasy can even help you have a rich, passionate sex life. Just remember to draw the line between reality and the world of make- believe.
