Some people call it desperation day. And in Germany, singletons actually have a chance to turn their non-existent love lives around on February 13 by going aboard the “Flirt-Express”—a nationwide speed-dating party on a train.
First offered in 2008, this dating service will kick off on Valentine’s Eve aboard a commuter train called “Flirt-Express” that will depart from ten major German cities this year, according to AFP. Participants have a chance to meet a potential love interest every five minutes, and once they hit it off with someone, that’s when they may exchange contact details.
Those who fail to find their match once the train pulls into the station still have a chance to find potential sweethearts as they mingle with passengers at the after-party.
Would you participate if they did this in the Philippines, say in the MRT or the newest LRT line?
