In his personal site www.dhuck.com, Hayward claims Letters to Crushes garnered 120,000 page views and 45,000 unique visitors within 50 days since it was launched. This just goes to show how many of us are too chicken to make that big declaration.

Letters to Crushes goes by the motto, “If you're not going to tell them...may as well tell everyone.” Reading through the site offers insight into different, often amusing ways people describe their feelings, and illustrates just how normal it is to feel scared about confessing. If you want to post your own message, send a note to letters.to.crushes@gmail.com or type your message in the space provided at the site. Remember to keep your tone light, sweet, and positive.

If you can’t keep your heartbreak from tainting your words, maybe you’re better off posting on Letters to Crushes’ sister site, Letters from the Crushed. This site encourages devastated souls to write short letters to those who broke their hearts.
