It is so not true that only women (love to) play mind games. Men also do. We’re sure you’ve wondered about men who claim they aren’t ready for a relationship yet, but proceed to date you. Or those who say they’d love to be in a relationship with you but that is not their priority right now because they still have a lot of things to fix about their life, blah, blah, blah.
Don’t you just hate it when you totally misinterpret what he says and find yourself hurt eventually? Don’t fall into a trap. Decode his words, know what truly goes on in his head, and always be a step ahead of him. Weed out men who are only after getting into your pants, and avoid developing false expectations. Check out JustAGuyThing.com’s lists of things men say but don’t really mean.
Below and on the next page, we’ve also listed actual statements from men and what they really mean, as interpreted by dating and relationship expert Matt Titus on AssociatedContent.com.
1. "I can't see you on weekends because I like to spend time with my friends, but we can go out during the week."
He has other plans during weekends (which in no way include you) and you’re not his priority just yet.
2. "Let's meet at the bar, I'll be there with friends."
He’s trying to tell you it’s not a date.
3. "We should see other people just so we know we are right for each other."
He’s actually interested in someone else and wants to be let off easy.
