The Story of Danny and Annie

This depiction of the real-life story of a widow and the love of her life will move you to tears.

TV and film may make out love and romance to be of a certain quality, leaving many of us disillusioned; but if we want to know what love truly is, we need only look to the people around us.

Take, for instance, Danny and Annie. In this poignant clip by StoryCorps, the couple share the ups and downs of their 27-year romance, from their first date to Danny's last days battling terminal cancer. This is their story.
