"Haoma" is a word from an East Iranian language called Avestan. It refers to a plant, but it also points to a spiritual essence and even divinity. The film reflects the title’s ethereal nature by vividly depicting an alternate universe where plants form human-like bodies and become immersed in the complexities of love.
Directed by Matthieu Deltour, Melissa Lafon, Elodie Legros, and Yann Moalic, with music composed by Martin Romberg, this beautiful short film is truly worth watching.
