In brief, the thread was posted by an irate woman who went on a date with a man she met online who turned out to be completely rude because she, in turn, supposedly led him to believe she wasn't on the heavy side. Lo and behold, they still ended up sleeping together, and in the woman's fury at his being a jerk, she posted a furious tell-all thread on the online dating forum where they met.
This now-infamous thread posted on January 8, with over 1.3 million views and over 4,400 comments as of press time, tells us this much: you date people you only met online at your own risk—but even thinking of having sex with them for whatever reason after one lousy date is completely taboo.
Now, posting this “epic dating failure” on the same dating site where the two of you met is something else altogether. If anything, they provide the rest of us not only a crystal clear dating lesson, but also some time-killing online entertainment.
