“After breaking up with my first boyfriend of four years, I realized I had so much free time for myself. Although it was daunting at first, I started doing things I never used to do while I was in a relationship. (Mind you, I did hole up and cry my heart out. I’m only human.) First, I sought therapy which I knew I needed for quite a while. Confronting my issues (not just romantic ones) helped me get on the path to healing MYSELF.
