Moving on can be difficult, but it's not impossible. Here are some thoughts that cross your mind when you're trying to heal and move forward after a breakup.

“Is there something wrong with me?”

The initial stages of moving on is hard–there will be a lot of self-doubt.

“Sino kaya yung girl na like ng like sa status niya?”

How do you know? Because you’ve been stalking his profile ever since you two broke up. 

“Ayoko na!”
At one point, you even give up on everything.

“Pwede kaya naming i-try ulit?”

But still, you’re hopeful and a lot of ‘what ifs start to form in your head.

“I miss him. I miss us.”


Also, you start to get emotional and reminisce about the good times.


“Bakit ang sakit, sakit?”
You wallow in self-pity and start to binge eat.

“I wonder if he thinks of me, too.”

“Bakit hindi niya na ako mahal?”

Even if you’ve done your part, if something is not meant to be, then you should accept that.


“How could he replace me that quickly?”
Again girl, tama na ang pag-stalk.

“If I could go back in time, I would’ve have done things differently.”
…or you could let your heart heal so that the next guy in your life can love you as a whole.

“Kaya ko ‘to!”

Because at one point, you'll realize that life is too short to dwell on your misery.
