Despite appearing in movies geared for kids, we can't help but gush when we see animated canine companions. While some are the protagonists, most animated dogs are human companions or sidekicks. Regardless of the roles these dogs play, though, everyone agrees that they always steal the show. They're cute, funny, adorable, and often mischievous to boot.

After watching animated movies with dogs in them, we can't help but think how fun it would be to have the dog as a companion for real. But as with real world dogs, the canine heroes we watch tend to have their own temperaments, which can be a little tricky to handle if your personality doesn't match! Take a quick moment to answer the questions below and see which animated canine is your perfect companion!
