It's perfectly natural to be thrilled when a new furry friend finds its way into your home. But this excitement does not last forever: once old age catches up with your pet, it’s easier to just abandon him in favor of a younger and livelier cat or dog.
That's why it’s important to remember that pets are a lifetime commitment-- they’re not toys that can simply be easily discarded in favor of a newer model. Responsible pet owners should always go the extra mile to take care of their animals, more so during their last days, as a way to return the unconditional love their pets gave them during their entire lifetime.
