womanity_awards_advocacy.jpgIn recent years, Pinoys everywhere have become increasingly conscious of the importance of being part of something bigger, in firing up their passions toward something that can make life a little easier for their fellow human beings. The popularity of movements like Earth Hour has shown just how far environmental consciousness has penetrated the ideals of average men and women. Everywhere, people are becoming men and women for others, for the environment, and so on.

In the gallery below, we introduce our finalists for the Advocacy category of the Womanity Awards. These  five women do more than just behave according to their beliefs and passions—they take action to help and encourage others to do the same as well!

Let us know which of these champions of humanity you’ve been moved by—vote for your most inspiring advocate by clicking on the banner below.

I'll go for Ms.Anna Cabrera who even though knows the glitz and glamour that this world can offer to women she still choose to stay simple and fight for animal rights which most of us fail to give attention to. I am very thankful that this brave woman exist and stand and fight for those who we often take for granted - the unloved animals. Thank you Ms.Anna Cabrera and to all PAWS advocates! You are all my inspiration. :)

I will vote for Elizabeth Angsioco because of her consistent long years of struggle to uphold women's rights and for her social democratic advocacy.
