We recently got to speak with him and he shared his thoughts on his experiences going out with a girlfriend on a budget, his ideal date, and what makes him mushy.
Can you go on a decent date with just 500 pesos?
Bago naman ako naging artista nasa bulsa ko 200 pesos lang, minsan kulang pa pera ko pang-MRT. But it’s one thing I wouldn’t change about my past. Kasi it makes me appreciate all the blessings I’m receiving now. I’m so thankful to God that I’m getting all these, kasi the sweet wouldn’t be sweet without the bitter. I’m happy with everything that I’ve gone through.
How was it going out with your girlfriend then when you weren't part of the industry yet?
Nahihiya pa ako kasi bago ako nag-artista yung girlfriend ko pa then yung nagsusundo sa akin. Dyahe talaga ako.
What's your ideal date?
I’m very simple. I enjoy the simple things, as long as I'm in the company of someone I really like.
What makes a date special?
As I said, simple lang ako, even if I’m just walking with someone on the street—or especially in the rain—super special na sa akin yun. It’s really the simple things that make moments really special.
