Pedring has certainly grown up.
Paolo Contis, 24, was first known as a child actor in the ABS-CBN youth-oriented show, AngTV, which launched the careers of several other actors like him. He’s best remembered in that show for his comic character, Pedring.
Even now that he has taken on more mature roles, usually as the tough antagonist in GMA-7 primetime soaps, Paolo continues to amuse us both on- and off-screen, as you would later see in his exclusive one-on-one with FemaleNetwork.
On-screen, you can catch Paolo in GMA-7 shows such as World Records (a hosting stint which he considers a challenge), Codename: Asero, and Nuts Entertainment. Over the years, Paolo has proven his acting prowess in action-packed GMA primetime shows such as Sugo, Atlantika, and Asian Treasures.
Paolo stole the show in the recently held Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash. The last one to take to the ramp, he confidently strutted down the catwalk, showing off his well-sculpted body, thanks to hours of rigorous workouts and strict dieting. He tells us more about how he prepared for his shoot, what part of his body he is most proud of, and what his actress-model girlfriend Isabel Oli thinks of his being one of this year’s Cosmopolitan Centerfolds, among other things you’ll learn about him in the following FN Flipbook (with snapshots from the interview and wet and wild Bachelor Bash).

What do you think makes you sexy?
Besides my sexy body? (Jokingly) Hindi ko alam! Ang kapal kasi ng mukha ko kung sabihin kong sexy ako. Ewan ko. Basta ang sa’kin, unlike other guys, I’m very, very approachable. I don’t hit on everyone, and siguro that’s what makes me different. You talk to me, hindi ako mag-iisip na type mo ‘ko or anything. Mas natural ba.
