The Hayden Kho sex video scandals are all anyone in the whole country can talk about these days. Some people take sides and condemn the celebrity doctor and young actress Katrina Halili for their promiscuity, while others sit back in amused attention, awaiting the developments in the Hayden saga.

It’s easy to be the first to cast a stone when you’re not the one in Katrina’s position, with her most intimate acts on display for anyone with Internet connection to see. But given today’s technology, how can you be sure the same thing won’t happen to you? How will you then protect yourself from falling into the same trap? Here are a few tips on ensuring that your intimate moments are kept private.

To begin with, say no. If your partner suggests filming your lovemaking session, refuse. You have every right to do this. In fact, Senate is already pushing to pass a law that penalizes those who commit photo or video voyeurism, which, according to this article in Manila Bulletin, is “the act of capturing an image of the private area of a person without her or his consent, and knowingly performing the act under circumstances in which the individual has a reasonable expectation of privacy.”

If it’s really your thing to film yourselves in the act, at least make sure your sex video never sees the light of day. According to eHow.com, the first step to keeping other people from accessing sex videos on your hard drive is renaming the file with something that would not arouse curiosity. Makeuseof.com also suggests making the folder invisible to keep prying eyes off your sex video reservoir.

Watch for hidden cameras. AssociatedContent.com called attention to how advancements in technology brought about cameras that are small and sleek enough to evade attention, making it easier to commit video voyeurism. So be wary of nail holes in the bedroom because that tiny diameter is all a hidden camera needs to capture your most private moments. Check if there are small openings in ceilings, walls, closets, or anywhere a camera could be positioned to catch a prime angle of your lovemaking.

I really don't get why people would video themselves while doing the act.
