Planning a movie night with your friends and family? Here, we line up five Christmas films for each important person in your life—from your BFF whom you gush about your celebrity crushes with to your nieces and nephews whom you love to spoil.

1. A Princess for Christmas

After the death of her sister and brother-in-law, Jules Daly (Katie McGrath) becomes the legal guardian of her niece Maddie and nephew Milo. When she gets laid off from work, she receives an invitation from Duke Edward, the kids’ estranged grandfather who disowned his son after he married Jules’ sister, to spend Christmas at Castlebury. There, she meets not just the duke but his younger son Ashton.

Watch it with your BFF and bond over your mutual love for fairytale romances and happy endings.

2. Rise of the Guardians
The children of the world are being threatened and it’s up to the guardians Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), E. Aster Bunnymund (Hugh Jackman) Tooth (Isla Fisher), and Sandy to protect them. However, they will need the help of newly appointed and seemingly reluctant guardian Jack Frost (Chris Pine). Can they work together to keep Pitch, the Boogeyman (Jude Law), from shrouding the world in darkness?

Watch it with the kids and kids-at-heart in your family and enjoy a fun adventure of good versus evil.

3. Christmas in Connecticut

Elizabeth Lane (Barbara Stanwyck) is a single food writer pretending to have the made life. Her fans believe that she lives in a farm up in Connecticut with her husband and baby, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. When her publisher suggests that she invite returning war hero Jefferson Jones to her farm for Christmas dinner, Elizabeth must find a way to keep the charade up or risk getting fired.

Watch it with your parents who might enjoy a good old-fashioned romantic comedy.

4. Fred Claus

Every Christmas, families get together to spend some time with each other and things aren’t any different at Santa Claus’s (Paul Giamatti). When he’s unable to deliver the presents to the children in time for Christmas day, it is up to his brother Fred (Vince Vaughn) to take over.

Watch it with your man who loves his guy humor.

5. Gremlins

There are only three rules in caring for the furry creatures called Mogwai. One: Don’t get it wet. Two: Don’t expose it to bright sunlight. Three: Never ever feed it after midnight. When inventor Randall Peltzer purchases one as a Christmas present for his son, all three rules are broken and chaos, in the form of naughty and crafty gremlins, soon threaten to overthrow the city.

Watch it with your siblings for a trip down memory lane.
