The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty was launched in 2004 to celebrate women of every shape, size, skin tone, and age and break prevailing unattainable standards of beauty. This particular commercial is a mini-expose on how easily a model's looks can be manipulated for an advertisement. To be sure, this ordinary girl is given a goddess-like appearance--but ends up losing her own inherent beauty. It's no wonder the rest of us can never truly measure up to the girls on billboards--they're all Photoshopped beyond recognition!
