If you are into Japanese animation or celebrities, you'd notice that character profiles include blood type details. In Japan, blood types mean more than compatibility for blood donations, as most Japanese still believe in blood typology or the idea that blood type defines a person's personality, temperament, and ability to mingle.

Scientists have rejected blood typology in recent years, but four books on the subject still dominate Japan's top 10 bestsellers this year. According to the report from the Guardian, Instruction Manual for People with Type B Blood and its follow-up titles sold five million copies in Japan, mostly to women in their 20s and 30s.
In Japan, asking for blood types is similar to asking a person about his astrological sign, as blood types also have their own horoscopes. While blood typology naturally comes to mind in dating, some companies are also known to hire people based on their blood type.
Research by the Guardian showed A types are sensitive and perfectionists, while free-thinking Bs are more cheerful and flamboyant. O types tend to be more decisive, curious, and confident, while artistic AB types are more distant.
Does this blood type classification match your personality? Do you believe the link between personality and blood type?

I read a book about this stuff, and I do believe that there's truth in this somehow..If you look at it scientifically, there are certain biochemical factors that is present in different bloodtypes which affects a person's behavior and indirectly influences one's personality...
