Women are prone to many illnesses, but early detection is always the key to prevention or even treatment. Before you even experience symptoms of serious illnesses, simple tests may clue you in on the risks you’re facing.

For instance, if your family has a history of low bone density, breast cancer, colon cancer, diabetes, ovarian cancer, or skin cancer, you have an above-average risk even if your body hasn’t manifested common symptoms.
