Face it, sex can't be as exciting as it is for some. It doesn't look as hot as it does in movies, but we constantly have fantasies of perfect nights of passion. Here are some tips we found in Health.com to help give your sex life some steam.

- Get enough sleep--experts still insist that it's the number one aphrodisiac. It's important to keep the energy up by earning it!
- Stop being drug dependent. Health.com lists some drugs that can kill your sex drive: antidepressants such as Prozac, Paxil, painkillers, anti-anxiety medications, and even laxatives! But if these have been recommended by your doctor, don't fret--"You can still enjoy sex, but you'll need more time and simulation to become aroused," said Suki Hanfling, the founder and director of Institute for Sexuality and Intimacy in Massachusetts.
- Exercise! Some physical activity can trigger the release of dopamine, a hormone that provides feelings of enjoyment and reinforcement. This may boost the levels of testosterone, which can enhance one's libido.
- Trigger your dopamine by shopping!
- Consult your doctor.
- Be patient. Like everything else, sex takes some time to perfect.
