Humans are visually-attuned creatures, and we tend to judge a lot of things based on their physical appearances. Can you imagine living your life without being able to see? It’s a tough life, yes, but, as it turns out, there are a lot of perks when one is visually impaired—just ask Tommy Edison, who has been blind since birth.
