Poll: What's your health resolution for the New Year?

Dec 30, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

The New Year is always a good time to start a new health and fitness regimen, especially after most of us indulged in holiday treats and feasts. A lot of people also become mindful of their diets and workout habits this time of year so they can proudly display bikini bodies come summertime, which is just three months away. Of course, healthy habits vary for everyone, especially if you have specific targets.

Would you go on a diet? If you're just starting to take workouts seriously, some of you may consider getting a gym membership and a trainer to help determine the best workout plan for you. If you're quite satisfied with your weight, some maintenance and muscle toning are surely the way to go.

Or if you've been keeping your own routines like jogging, would you add more fitness plans like working out with the aid of exercise videos or stretching and toning methods like yoga or Pilates?

We'd like to know: what's your health plan for 2009?
