Oils to relax and soothe you

Jan 6, 2009 by FN's Shar Bareng

sleeping.jpg We've all been told about the many wonders a good night's sleep can do for the body. Not only do we feel refreshed and more than ready to face the day's challenges, we also enjoy several health benefits, as a recent study at the University of Chicago Medical Center has shown.

However, a lot of people do not get as much sleep as necessary, usually because they're too wired from work. Do not fret if you're one of them, as countless solutions to better sleep are available in the market—among them are wellness oils that come in various forms such as concentrated essential oils, massage oils, and linen sprays.

If muscle aches and too much stress keep you awake at night, a massage or a simple rub can help you relax. Spa Essentials Massage Oils (P169 for a 100ml bottle) address these concerns to help you get to sleep better. You can choose from the Sleep Easy, Aches and Pains, or Stress Relief variants, which can help ease muscle tension and soothe nerves when rubbed on sore arms and legs and inhaled. You can even make cuddle time more relaxing for you and your partner with the Romance massage oil.

Want your pillows and bed sheets to have that soothing spa scent? Choose from one of five variants of Spa Essentials' Linen Spray (P109 for 100ml) to suit a wellness concern. Insomniacs might do well with spritzing a little of the Sleep Easy or Stress Relief variants on their pillow. Three or four sprays of Breathe Easy (with hints of peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree oil) on your sheets can make your bed smell so relaxing and even soothe a clogged nose. There are also Energy and Romance linen spray variants.

Got an oil burner? You can also fill your room with calming and healing scents of Spa Essentials' Essential Oils (P189 for 10ml). They come in different types, too.

Relieve yourself of stress and other hindrances to good rest with these relaxing wellness oils, to fully enjoy the benefits of sleep.
