Nov 18, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

yoga.jpgHave you always wanted to try yoga but never had the chance? Now you will, when you attend the first Yoga Fair, a festival at Meditation Park in Quezon City Circle? this weekend, November 22 and 23.

Enjoy lectures on the basics of yoga and workshops on yoga postures. Aside from yoga activities, the program also offers lectures and workshops on devotion, alternative medicine, organic agriculture, and vegetarianism, in an effort to promote overall wellness.

A special forum on self-realization and service to the universe on Nov. 22 covers the spiritual aspect of the yoga program. The "Parada ng Candila" and ethnic music concert cap the activities for the first day.

Admission is free. Visit the Yoga Fair from 9AM to 10PM on Nov. 22 and 9AM to 7PM on Nov. 23. For more information, contact Ananda Marga Yoga Center at 924-6068 or e-mail info@maharlika.manilasector.com.
