Escape to this spa oasis without leaving Manila

May 2, 2009 by FN's Shar Bareng

You all know that one of the best ways to reward yourself after a hard day's work is to indulge in a pampering session.

While some are satisfied with a few hours of sleep, sometimes we really have to treat our bodies to a relaxing massage in a peaceful and quiet environment, especially when muscle aches disrupt our "me" time.

Fortunately, we don’t need to go out of town for the ultimate combination of on-the-spot treatments and calming effects of nature. We can simply head off to tranquil spas such as Blue Water Day Spa in Capitol Hills, which offers a sweeping view of the surrounding green and the city below. As if the view couldn't get any prettier, the spa’s blue, white, and silver interiors invite customers to lay back and let their preferred treatments wash worries away.

Blue Water Day Spa offers a wide range of treatments suited for customers’ specific needs. If you're simply tense and worn out, you can choose from different types of massages, which include their signature body massage therapies.

After a day of volunteering for Cosmo Build, a joint home-building project of Cosmopolitan Magazine and Habitat for Humanity, FemaleNetwork's Trixie and I decided to get a massage to relieve the pain from our unconditioned backs.
