British Woman with Two Vaginas Rejects $1 Million Adult Film Offer

In an interview on ITV's This Morning, 27-year-old Hazel Jones, a woman with two vaginas, revealed she didn't discover she had uterus didelphys until she was 18 when her first serious boyfriend told her there was "something different" about her during sex, CBSNews.com reports.

Dr. Jill Rabin, professor of obstetrics at gynecology at Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine, New York, said uterus didelphys is actually not as rare as people think--one in 3,000 women have it. She describes it as a condition in which a woman's two tubes in the reproductive system fail to fuse into the middle septum resulting in her having two each of a uterus, cervix, and vagina.

One of the telltale signs of the condition, Dr. Rabin said, was having severe menstrual cramps--something Hazel also experienced. The British woman confessed that when she started having her period at 14, she  made the mistake of asking a friend which hole she was supposed to insert her tampon into. She got laughed at for her efforts because her friend thought she meant to ask if it should be placed rectally.

She was quiet after that, but, four years later, once she got tested at the doctor and discovered her condition, Hazel wasted no time in telling her friends. "My quirky condition does not make me shy or hold me back," she is quoted as saying on IBTimes.com. "In fact, it's something I celebrate. As soon as I found out what it was, I told everybody. I thought it was amazing. It's definitely an ice breaker at parties."

After her interview aired on TV, her condition even got her an an offer from adult film production company Vivid Entertainment, which immediately said it would pay her $1 million to star in a movie, The Daily Mail reports. During the same interview on This Morning, however, Hazel already rejected the idea of making any kind of adult film. "I have never received any offers of this kind of work nor would I ever consider doing it in a million years. I just want to be left alone," she said.

As for the downside of having uterus didelphys, Hazel said doctors have told her that she runs  a bigger risk of miscarrying or giving birth prematurely.

"I'm told that if I get pregnant, I've got to be careful I don't get pregnant again in the other side," she said on This Morning. Nevertheless, Hazel said that she still wants to have a family of her own. She is currently married without children.
