High school goalkeeper gets inspired through Facebook

Learn how Daniel Cui transformed himself from an ordinary freshman kid into an amazing goalie with a little help from technology.

Freshman Daniel Cui, the goalkeeper of his high school’s soccer team, became the school’s scapegoat for losing a game season when he failed to save a crucial goal. When a photo album of Daniel’s failed saves cropped up on the social networking site Facebook, his schoolmates defended him by changing their profile photos to a picture of him making a spectacular save. This touching show of support gave Daniel the boost of confidence he needed to redeem himself, enabling him to make a complete turnaround from an ordinary freshman kid into “Daniel Cui, the beast goalkeeper.” Learn more about his inspiring story in the video below.
