Showbiz roundup: Diether recovers from seizure, Megastar to become a Regal baby?

Jul 1, 2009 by Dinno Erece, entertainment correspondent

OY_Diether_Ocampo.jpgSeizure. Diether Ocampo is okay now, after suffering a seizure last Monday morning, US time.

One of the 40-strong contingent of ABS-CBN Star Magic talents who will do a show there, Diether “suffered a seizure during morning rehearsals and was rushed by emergency services to the hospital where extensive tests were made to determine the cause,” read the talent center’s official statement.

“Unconscious for a while, he is now conscious and in stable condition. More tests are required and he is under observation. [He was puyat for three weeks] prior to leaving for the States because of work. As of press time, he is okay.”

After checking on him personally, this is what Diet himself reported: “I guess God gave me a second chance to live. So yeah, I’m okay and back to life. Thank you, my friend. Nice to have a real one like you.” Sweet of him, of course, to add the last line.
