No goodbyes for Dr. Izzie Stevens

Apr 10, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

izzie_stevens.jpgApparently there were rumors that Katherine Heigl will be leaving Grey's Anatomy, but our favorite doctor has dismissed such reports, which all came up after Heigl’s recent breakthrough on the big screen. But good old Katherine says that her role in Grey's is much more important than her own Hollywood career, which just shows how much she values the show that gave her the biggest break she could ask for.

Starpulse reports Katherine saying, "When I come back to Grey's, I am actually really excited. After nine months a year for four years, of course you're going to think, 'I want to be someone else for a while.' "I landed really good things and I did them in my breaks. It broke up the monotony of the character and I'm very, very grateful for opportunities. But Grey's is such a good cast. Everybody is amazing."

And for this, props to you, Katherine! We sure can't imagine Seattle Grace without you.
