New channel on the block

Most of you probably have discovered the all new channel TV5 (formerly ABC 5) by now, after they launched a whole new lineup of shows last Saturday. Just in case you missed the unveiling of new shows, here’s a guide to their primetime lineup, which includes Season 8 of Shall We Dance, with hotties Victor Basa and Jon Avila joining dance goddess Lucy Torres on the floor; 3R, the ultimate show for women empowerment; and Talentadong Pinoy, which marks the return of former Philippine Idol host Ryan Agoncillo to the network!

Monday to Friday:
- Catch the latest entertainment news in Juicy at 4PM, with replays at 12MN.
- Teddy of Rocksteddy and VJ Patty of MTV show crazy antics people do at Shock Attack, 4PM daily.

Monday:
- Midnight DJ follows the story of a famous DJ for a midnight radio show after he activates his third eye and uses the show to tell stories of his experiences. Starring Paolo Contis, Desiree del Valle, and Jenny Miller, the show airs at 7PM, with replays on Saturday at 12NN.
- MysMatch adds a new twist to the classic dating game at 10PM.

Tuesday:
Chicklit features chick novellas published by Summit bestsellers. It premieres with Have Baby, Will Date starring Valerie Concepcion, TJ Trinidad, Beth Tamayo, and Bobby Andrews, airing at 7PM, with replays on Sunday at 12NN.
- Learn how to respect, relax, and respond with Reema Chanco, Goldee Salcedo, and Sheena Sy in 3R at 10PM.
 
Wednesday:
Hush Hush offers a glimpse into the glamorous world of talent agencies and follows the lives of five aspiring young celebrities, airing at 7:30PM.
- Unpredictable performances, spontaneous gags, and absurd challenges abound in Ogags, hosted by Brazilian hotties Ariana Barouk and Daiana Menezes at 10PM.

Thursday:
Rakista follows the not-so-glamorous life of an up-and-coming band at 7PM.
- Travel on a Shoestring guides travelers who jetset on a budget at 10PM.

Friday:
– Horrifying urban legends and spine-tingling dares abound in Philippines’ Scariest Challenge, hosted by Jomari Yllana and Cesca Litton at 6:05PM.
- Lokomoko delivers fresh laughs at 10PM.

Saturday:
– Ryan Agoncillo hosts the new reality show Talentadong Pinoy at 6:05PM.
- Keep up with the police beat in Pulis, Pulis at 10PM.

Sunday:
– Jason Webb, Bayani Agbayani, and Coach Norman Black host the reality show for the next basketball star in Most Valuable Pinoy (MVP) at 6:05PM.
- Lucy Torres opens Season 8 of Shall We Dance at 9:30PM.
