You can now actually ask Marvin and Jolina for their points-of-view on your personal issues in their new Sunday afternoon show, Dear Friend, which would premier on GMA-7 this Sunday afternoon.

From teeny-bopper idols to big-time TV and movie stars, and now, even successful entrepreneur and youth icon, Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal will add another feather to their already crowded hats as they give their two cents’ worth on issues sent through a letter by viewers.
Dear Friend is a drama anthology that will feature true and personal stories from letters sent by viewers, revealing their real life adversities and trials. As hosts of the show, Marvin and Jolina will also share their personal experiences in relation to the letter-sender’s issue each week. GMA-7’s justification for getting these two actors to host this type of advice show is how both have surpassed various obstacles and difficulties in their personal lives—in public, if we must add. But most importantly, it’s how Marvin and Jolina’s long-running (albeit interrupted) tandem has been tried and tested, both in television and films.
Among the issues the show will likely tackle are teen marriage, date rape, sibling rivalry, addictions, and broken families.
Think you can identify with any of these or would have your own to share? Why not send them a letter? Or at least listen in on what they have to say to the letter-sender of the week.
Dear Friend premiers this Sunday afternoon after Pinoy Idol Extra on GMA.
