Kristy Lee Cook says goodbye

Apr 17, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

ai08_kristylee.jpgSurprisingly, the boys fared better during Mariah Carey night this week at American Idol while some of the girls were all reduced to pale imitations of Mariah. While David Cook totally rocked the stage with "Always Be My Baby," Brooke White only managed to deliver "the bun of the hamburger," so Simon says, and Kristy Lee Cook's okay ending didn't save her screechy version of "Forever." So it's actually no surprise that it's Kristy who got the ax tonight, although we also thought Brooke has been very disappointing in the past two weeks.

Were your predictions correct this week? Tell us what you think!
