We're happy to hear that Kris Aquino is flexing her hosting skills again—and this time, even America is watching!

If you missed Deal or No Deal, you'll be happy to learn that ABS-CBN shot a two-hour special episode of Deal or No Deal--Around the World last Thursday, according to PEP, after Endemol picked the Philippines as one of the three countries included in the tour. The two other counterparts chosen were Estonia and South Africa. Kris is even sharing the stage with Howie Mandel, the host for the US’ counterpart of the show.

We couldn't help applauding for "the banker" when we learned that he was actually one of the reasons why the producers chose the Philippines for the tour. PEP reported Endemol's executive producer saying, "We love the way the banker gets to move around. I think that's really fun element. It's something that Howie and I changed in our episode in Canada. That maybe that's something we'll try to incorporate just to give the person more activity."

But our growing bubble of excitement suddenly popped as we scrolled down to the little line at the bottom: We won't be able to watch it on local TV. Still, ABS-CBN Business Unit Head Alou Almaden gave us a little glimmer of hope when she said we'll still see about that.

Still, we're glad our efforts at hosting international game shows are finally getting the credit they deserve. And we have Kris (and the banker) to give props to for that!
