One of my sure-fire ways to cure the start-of-the-week blues is to watch videos in Youtube. Yesterday, I found this super cute video of Canadian singer-songwriter Feist's guest appearance in Sesame Street, where she sings an altered version of her hit single, "One, Two, Three, Four," for our muppet friends.
I've always looked forward to celebrity guestings in the good old street--remember REM's hilarious "Happy Furry Monsters" or Norah Jones' song to the letter Y, "Don't Know Why Y Didn't Come"? Those were just one of the few times when I happily sang along with my niece and nephew while watching TV! Oh, it's going to take ages to get over the "One, Two, Three, Four" last song syndrome, I'm sure.
And we're even up for more celebrity guests this season, as Will Arnett, Jessica Alba, David Beckham, Heidi Klum, Neil Patrick Harris, Sandra Oh, Jenny McCarthy, Jason Taylor, and Jack Black are set to visit the street soon! Plus, they'll be spoofing Grey's Anatomy, 30 Rock, High School Musical, and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?!
Watch it and let's see if it can't crack you up. Happy thoughts, everyone!
