I decided to sell it and i did. Binenta ko na, nalugi ako 1k. I biught it around 7.6 and sold ng 7 today

One of the main reason why i sold it kasi i have no idea about cement or construction. Since long term din habol ko and hindi pa ako ganun kafamiliar with trading, i went for more stable and safe companies under psei so i opted for mpi, ceb and jfc. So far green lahat yan as of today.

Does anyone know if for example, March 29 ex date ng isang stock for cash dividend and then May 2 ang payout date -- would I still get the cash dividend if I sell the stock after the ex date? Thanks!  ;D

^Yes, you will still receive the dividend if you sell on or after ex date.

Traders Apprentice Pilipinas, Tsupitero.com, Finance Manila, Investing in the Philippines Stock Market -  Tips and Tricks, etc.

Just to share my mistake (para iwasan din niyo). One time nagkakwentuhan kami ng friend ko, more than 4yrs na siya sa trading, but he also make mistakes. I have the tendency kasi na maniwala agad sa mga matatagal na nagtrade, i always see them as experts and laging  tama gawa nila. After one week, bagsak presyo. Siguro babawi next time yun price, pero i was looking for something na medium term. Baka matagalan itong chp.

I started trading in 2007 pero hindi ako expert.

Tamad Tips/Hints at mahiwagang Playbook ba yan nina Senyor Roy Reyes at Jared Odulio? Haha.

^^Dashboard, you mean dashboard ng online broker? For me, First Metro at COL ang user-friendly.

^Experience is the best teacher, sis.

Thank you!

^Personal opinion lang ha, I think hindi talaga macocompare yun both. Pagka-gets ko kasi (unless mali intindi ko), trading is buy and sell agad, usually short term. If invest lang talaga sa stock market, it takes years, as in long years. Whether you trade or you invest lang long term, you still have to read the news, especially business section. tapos watch din ng mga business news. Ang difference lang sa dalawa is sa trading, you check daily. Sa long term investment, you don't have to check everyday.

Is there a way to know which is the best method of indicator to use in charting? Use as many as possible ba or 3-5 is enough?

Ang dami kasi e. I watched youtube explaining ma 50 and ma150. na-gets ko naman. kaso hindi ko alam if it should be based on a day chart or weekly chart (sa investagram diba you can choose if day, week, 1m or 3m etc).

I think kung MA 50 or MA 150 ang gamit mo, medyo matagal ang signal since 50 days and 150days, respectively, ang basis. Ako naman I use MA 50 and MA 200 as support.. meaning pag bumaba below MA 50 ang price, napapaisip na akong magbenta.

Maraming indicators pero in my opinion, mas okay mag-stick na lang sa 3-5 basta dapat laging kasali ang price at volume. Siguro experiment na lang muna with different indicators and see what works sa trading style or objective mo.

Sa charts naman I use daily and sometimes weekly charts since short-term trader ako.

Hope this helps.

^ay hindi ko sure for long term. Mahina ako sa analysis. But personally, I will get ipo for that, tapos baka i will hold it until almost the end of duterte administration. Kasi under duterte, diba focus niya is infrastructure? so meron ibuibuild, kailangan ng cement. Ramon Ang is also known as a good businessman. And nawatch ko din sa bloomberg na mas ok eagle cement compared to chp (the other cement na nasa pse) because they don't have to pa royalty daw. so less expenses for them compared sa chp. and nabalita ko din na with eagle cement, the whole process from scratch to packaging of the product is sila mismo. they dont outsource it daw.

Anyone can recommend a trailing stop loss indicator for beginners? Sa cut loss kasi, I set na hanggang 3% ang willing ko i-lose (not sure if the amount is too small or big though). Pero I want to learn trailing stop loss din, I read na mas ok ito to maximize profit. I've read about parabolic sar and atr but hindi ko din pa rin masyadong gets. Baka meron kayo marecommend na mas ok for beginners or maybe you know of any youtube or articles na mas simpler ang explanation that fits newbies.
