Sophie Kinsella books for light reading and so funny kasi

Violet eden series by Jessica Shirvington - very enticing (as the title of book 2)

The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir

Kung gusto mo malaman kung ano talaga ang isang tunay na babae, basahin mo ito. Napacomprehensive niya from first up to the last page  ;) Until now I am not don reading this. Ang kapal kasi ng libro  ;D

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

Magandang nobela 'to. Sa totoo lang, kailangang basahin ng mga second year high school students  ;D at hanggang nasa college na ako hindi ko pa rin nakakalimutan yung plot ng narrative - and last but not the least,

The French Quarter Killers by John Dillmann

Ito yung pinakaunang nobela na nabasa ko nung 12 taong gulang pa lang ako, yun nga lang wala ng available nito. Probably this was published during the 80s.

Books by Salman Rushdie because well, he is Salman Rushdie. But if you're going to read one book of his, make it Midnight's Children. It was voted as the Booker of Bookers meaning it was the best Booker awardee of all Booker awardees.

Catch-22 it is a difficult read but very rewarding and very funny/ crazy.

A Confederacy of Dunces, voted as the funniest book this century. Ignatius Reilly is a unique protagonist unparalled in literature.

Rhonda Byrne books - The Secret, The Power, The Magic - law of attraction books, for good vibes purposes

Sun Tzu - The Art of War - managements skills and it's applicable in all aspects of life

Nothing can come into your experience unless you summon it through persistent thoughts.

What:
(fiction)
Paulo Coelho's books if you're in high school
1984 by George Orwell and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and also Handmaid's Tale by Atwood.
And then Umberto Eco, and the love of my life, Salman Rushdie. Also, even if he is not of the same level as the previous two, do check out Max Barry, and underrated author, as well.

(non-fiction)
The Republic by Plato
Thus Spake Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche
The Analects by Confucius
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu
Black Sun: Depression and Melancholia and Julia Kristeva
Hatred and Forgiveness by Julia Kristeva

Why:
Changed my life forever.
