All about Sterilizers (Part 2)

Sterilizer Part 1

Im still using my tommee tippee sterilizer.. Ginamit ko yun sa first baby ko, and now sa 2nd working padin sya. Na stock sya matagal sakin and ok padin. Malaki din space nya for me since ang bottles ng TT is matataba. I forgot lang the price. May free na bottles nadin ang TT..

Chicco sterilizer is cheap and can fit 6 Avent bottles. I'm using it for my baby. They sell them at deparment stores in Robinsons and SM for around 2000php.

We use Avent 3-in1. So far so good pero ang issue ko is yung build up sa heating pad. Kahit ano gawin namin i-descale (as per Avent's instructions) ayaw matanggal :(

@shieldmaidenofRohan, same here. I am using Avent sterilizer. May build-up na dumi na nga sa heating pad. Here in Korea, OK lang ang tap water compared sa Phils. When we went to Cebu for vacation last September, we brought the sterilizer with us. We used distilled water kasi grabe maka build-up ng dumi using tap water.

Share kolang. We used chico sterilizer for our avent bottles and teats. Around p2k price, purchased mga april2011. I thought sturdy tatagal kasi chico brand. And worse, hindi sya ma open para ma repair ni hubby who is a repair engr!!!

An problem is hindi ma turn on yung sterilizer kahit pindutin. Nung nasira na, we just use a big kawale dedicated for baby's bottles and teats na may steamer na metal sheet with holes then sa stove.

^Aaww that's too bad sis. Baka hinde magandang unit yung nachempo sainyo. Yung Chicco sterilizer namin 2010 pa nabili and gamit namin everyday pero until now good working condition pa din.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.

My chicco sterillizer still works fine din, though we have to store it na as my son is not bottle fed anymore.

Been using avent iq24 for a month now. Btw, we used distilled water for sterilizing while hot water from faucet and cradle bottle cleanser for washing the bottles then airdry. Kapag rush naman towel dry.  :)

Sorry for the confusion! ;)
